Built on a solid fiberglass hull with moderate beam and a shallow keel the 34 Express evenly divides her hull length between the cockpit and interior. Her mid-cabin floorplan is arranged with an L-shaped settee to port in the salon and double berths fore and aft. The aft cabin has a door for privacy--a rare luxury--while the forward stateroom has only a curtain. Note that there's a stall shower in the head compartment. On deck, the cockpit has built-in bench seating aft as well as a transom door, and visibility from the raised bridgedeck is excellent. Hinged hatches in the cockpit sole provide good access to the engines. A bow pulpit, radar arch, transom door and swim platform were standard. Twin 350-hp Crusader V-drive gas engines will cruise the 34 Silverton at 20 knots and reach a top speed in the neighborhood of 30 knots.
